GAME OF TALENTS AXED BY ITV AFTER ONE SERIES (Exclusive)

The talent-based gameshow will not be returning for a second series on ITV, TV Zone understands.

Seen as a replacement for Britain's Got Talent, which was cancelled due to covid, Game Of Talents first aired in Spring 2021 and part of ITV's Saturday night schedule. The series was hosted by Vernon Kay.

The format saw two contestants, joined by a celebrity teammate each, try to figure out the hidden talents of the eight performers in the studio. For every correct guess a team makes, they banked the money inside their chosen cash ball. Whoever banked the most money after seven performances would go through to the final round to play for their prize pot.

An ITV spokesperson confirmed to TV Zone: "There are no current plans for future series."

Celebrities who appeared on the ITV gameshow included Michelle Visage, Mel B, Tess Daly, Jonathan Ross, Katherine Ryan, Stephen Mulhern and Emma Willis.

The series is available to watch on ITV Hub.
