WIM HOF'S FREEZE THE FEAR 'COMMISSIONED FOR SECOND SERIES' BY BBC

The BBC One reality series has reportedly been commissioned for a second series.

The eight-part series, which aired in Spring of this year, was hosted by Holly Willoughby and Lee Mack and followed eight celebrities as they give up their warm cosy lives to live in the Italian mountains in sub-zero conditions.

Over the next few weeks of filming, they were faced with a series of daunting cold challenges designed to push their minds and bodies to the limit, whilst being guided by the record-breaking, global sensation Wim Hof AKA ‘The Ice Man’ who believes that embracing the cold can change their lives for the better.

The Daily Mail have reported that the BBC have "agreed" to commission a second series following the success of the first. The BBC declined to comment when approached by TV Zone.

In an article posted online, the outlet said: "Holly [Willoughby]’s recent BBC reality show, Freeze The Fear With Wim Hof, was so popular it has already agreed to commission a second series"

The celebrities who took part in the first series were Patrice Evra, Gabby Logan, Alfie Boe, Tamzin Outhwaite, Owain Wyn Evans, Dianne Buswell, Professor Green and Chelcee Grimes.

The group lived together in a tented village in sub-zero temperatures, surrounded by spectacular, icy scenes of Northern Italy.

A second series has not officially been announced by the BBC. Freeze The Fear with Wim Hof is available to stream now on BBC iPlayer.
