FRED'S LAST RESORT AXED BY E4 AFTER ONE SERIES

Fred's Last Resort will not be returning for a second series on E4, TV Zone can reveal.

The eight-part E4 series saw First Dates star Fred Sirieix recruit 10 young people at a crossroads in their lives and throw them into a life changing, highly demanding role in the exacting world of luxury, high-end hotel hospitality.

Located in a spectacular hotel on the French Riviera, the area where Fred himself trained as a youngster, the team welcomed demanding clientele from across the globe who will expect nothing less than premium service.

A Channel 4 spokesperson told TV Zone: “Every year, Channel 4, like all broadcasters, makes decisions about which shows to rest, return or conclude to ensure we always innovate and offer viewers the best range of programming. The decision not to recommission Fred’s Last Resort was not financial.”
