DOCTOR WHO SET FOR 'UNIQUE' CONTRIBUTION TO CHILDREN IN NEED 2023
Doctor Who executive producer Phil Collinson has revealed in the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine that Doctor Who is set for a 'unique' contribution to Children In Need 2023, which takes place in November.
It follows a sketch with Comic Relief co-founder Lenny Henry and current Doctor David Tennant for Red Nose Day earlier this month.
Collinson told Doctor Who Magazine: "...without making any promises, we have the beginnings of plans to contribute something absolutely unique [for Children In Need] this year!"
More details will be revealed in due course.

The five join Millie Kent and Sophie Ablett, plus previously announced guest stars including Jemma Redgrave and Anita Dobson. Aneurin Barnard also joins the series as the mysterious Roger ap Gwilliam. Jack Forsyth-Noble will play Will in the new series.

Jack Forsyth-Noble told Doctor Who Magazine: "What an absolute treat to join the Whoniverse at such an exciting time for the show! Russell [T. Davies] has brought together a kind and incredibly talented team, and to be a part of the first day filming was really special."
The new series of Doctor Who is expected to air in the first half 2024, starring new Doctor Ncuti Gatwa and companion Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. The duo's first episode is expected to air on BBC One this Christmas.
Before then, Doctor Who celebrates its 60th Anniversary in November with three hour-long specials starring David Tennant and Catherine Tate.
