DRAGONS' DEN RELOCATES TO GLASGOW FROM 2022

BBC Studios is transferring production of entrepreneurial TV hit Dragons’ Den to its Glasgow hub from 2022 in a move that will create a number of openings for Scottish-based editorial and production management personnel.

BBC Studios' Factual Entertainment team in Scotland is overseen by Adeline Ramage Rooney and series 20 of Dragons' Den will be the first to be produced from there, although studio recordings will remain in Manchester for that run.

Dragons’ Den returns to BBC One in the New Year with its 19th series and will see Dragons Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman and Sara Davies joined by 29-year-old entrepreneur, podcast host and Sunday Times best-selling author Steven Bartlett, the youngest ever Dragon.

Hannah Wyatt, BBC Studios’ Managing Director for Factual Entertainment and Events Productions says: “Like Top Gear’s recently announced relocation to Bristol, this is another really positive move for one of our Factual Entertainment jewels. I’m sure Scottish talent will bring new perspectives and ideas and our Glasgow hub is shaping up to be one of our most productive and creative bases.”
