THE WAR BETWEEN THE LAND AND THE SEA: BBC TO RELEASE FIRST LOOK TRAILER THIS WEEKEND

The first Doctor Who spin-off series between the BBC and Disney+ is created by Doctor Who Showrunner and Executive Producer Russell T Davies, who has written the series with Executive Producer Pete McTighe (A Discovery of Witches, The Pact, Doctor Who).

In a first look at The War Between The Land And The Sea will air on BBC One after this weekend's Doctor Who finale. Fans will see a first look at the cast of Russell Tovey, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jemma Redgrave, and Alexander Devrient alongside Ruth Madeley and Colin McFarlane.
Leading the five-part series is Russell Tovey (Feud, American Horror Story: NYC) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Surface, Loki). The series will also see the return of UNIT alumni Jemma Redgrave (Doctor Who, Grantchester) who will reprise her role as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart and Alexander Devrient (Doctor Who, Ted Lasso) as Colonel Ibrahim.
Also joining the cast are Patrick Baladi (The Office), Vincent Franklin (Gentleman Jack), Adrian Lukis (Pride And Prejudice), Francesca Corney (The Buccaneers) and Mei Mac (Call The Midwife). The series is created by Doctor Who Showrunner and Executive Producer Russell T Davies, who has written the series with Pete McTighe.
When a fearsome and ancient species emerges from the ocean, dramatically revealing themselves to humanity, an international crisis is triggered. With the entire population at risk, UNIT step into action as the land and sea wage war.
