In the new series, audiences join The Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu) on an epic quest to get Belinda back to Earth. But a mysterious force is stopping their return and the time-travelling TARDIS team must face great dangers, ferocious enemies and wilder terrors than ever before.

Doctor Who continued on BBC One last weekend with The Interstellar Song Contest which scored overnight audience of 2.6m. BARB data has now been released which shows the episode has consolidated to 3,754,000 after 7-days.
Overall, it ranked 9th for the week across all channels and the BBC's fourth most-watched title of the week, only behind Eurovision, Race Across The World and Antiques Roadshow. Excluding soaps, Doctor Who was the second highest-rating drama of the week, only behind the launch of ITV's Code Of Silence. Doctor Who also beat all episodes of Emmerdale and EastEnders, plus BBC One's new Sunday night drama The Bombing Of Pan Am 103.
The synopsis for the episode reads: "The Doctor's quest to get Belinda back home to Earth leads to a space station hosting the famous song contest. But a harmless night of fun soon becomes a battle to survive."
