CORONATION STREET PREVIEW: WHAT'S IN STORE NEXT WEEK, EPISODE SYNOPSIS REVEALED

A look ahead to next week's episodes of Coronation Street, with a full rundown of each episode.

Sunday 26th July 2026

Having found out from Kit that it was Jodie who attacked Sarah, an angry Shona confronts her sister demanding some answers. They visit Sarah in hospital and she tells them about Jodie’s trinket box. Will they be able to find it? With David and Shona having gone to bed, Lily tiptoes downstairs in search of her console.  She reaches under the sofa and pulls out Jodie’s trinket box. What will she find?. 

Sam returns home from hospital.  Leanne, Nick and Toyah fuss over him.  He is troubled when Leanne reveals she has a new boyfriend but she tries to reassure him and tells him she would like them to meet. Leanne calls at Speed Dhal with Sam in tow and introduces him to Idris.

Cassie is still determined to get rid of Ross and shows Steve  an app where you can post reviews of ex boyfriends and explains how she’s uploaded a photo of Ross in the hope that there will be a deluge of horror stories that she can show to Tyrone, proving that his Dad is a monster.  Steve advises her to delete it. Will she agree?  

Maria wakes up with a hangover.  Gary urges her to pull a sickie and suggests they do something nice together. Spotting them David is furious at her for swinging the lead pointing out that he had to close the salon while he visited Sarah in prison.  Asserting that Sarah is where she belongs, Maria angrily stalks off.

Ollie arrives for his first shift at Speed Daal.  Leanne leaves Alya to show him the ropes. Ben calls at Speed Daal and is taken aback to find Ollie there, dressed in his chef’s whites, clearly now working for the competition.  

Monday 27th July 2026

David and Shona arrive home from hospital with Harper to a surprise family welcome party. Everyone is stunned when Jodie arrives and tells them that she has told the police about the assault, they are shocked when she asks if she can move back in whilst she waits for her court case.

Meanwhile Sam is upset when David won’t let him hold Harper. Making sure there’s nobody in earshot, Lily quizzes Jodie about the trinket box.Bethany visits Sarah in prison and tells her about Jodie’s shock arrival at the party and how she confessed to the police about the assault on her. 

Sam tells Idris about the incident with Harper and how it’s clear David thinks he’s mentally unstable and doesn’t trust him.  In turn, Idris tells him about his own anxieties as a teen and how he overcame them.  Nick and Toyah arrive and Sam assures them that after a chat with Idris he feels much better. 

On the street, Cassie takes a call from one of Ross’s exes, a woman named Alison.  Ross overhears and recognises her name. Cassie summons Steve, Tyrone, Tracy and Ross to the Rovers and introduces them to Alison Shave, Ross’s ex-girlfriend and reveals how Ross stole money from her and threatened her.  How will Ross react? 

Tuesday 28th July 2026

David and Shona confront Jodie about the contents of the trinket box. Having heard from Leanne about how much time Alya spends on her legal work, Idris decides to speak to a surprised Alya about selling her share of the restaurant. But Idris has another shock for her.

Steve and Cassie call at the Rovers to find Tyrone, Ross and Tracy enjoying celebratory drinks.  When Ross reveals that he’s accepted a job at Highfield Prison and he’ll be staying in the area, Cassie’s furious and stalks back out. At No.1, Steve advises Cassie to keep her cool and assures her that at some point Ross will show his true colours and Tyrone will see him for who he really is. 

At No.6, Carla tells Lisa that she’s going to visit Sarah later, she’s not coping very well and Harry is really struggling without her.  Lisa’s left troubled. In the Rovers, Idris rounds on Adam for representing Abi and suing him over the mould in the flat.  Adam remains unrepentant. 

Wednesday 29th July 2026

Ross calls at No.9 and reveals that it’s his birthday.  Fiz insists that he, Tracy, Cassie and Steve must come for tea.  She struggles as everyone sings his praises and Tracy tells everyone how great it is to be in a relationship with a real alpha male. Having gone outside to get some air she returns to find them all singing Happy birthday to him and decides she can't keep quiet any longer. What will she say?

Adam admits to Alya that he’s representing Abi in her case against Idris.  Alya’s disapproving but explains to Idris that she can’t force Adam to ditch his client. Idris tells Leanne he wants to teach Adam a lesson and offers Brody £100 to put the frighteners on him. 

Jodie is still trying to win Lily round and steps in when she spots Lily struggling to stop some lads from bullying Harry at the precinct  As the lads scarper, Jodie takes a picture of them. At No.8, Lily tells David how Harry was being bullied by some lads but Jodie scared them off.  

In the shop flat, a nervous Asha prepares for her first date with Sienna.  Nina assures her she’s gorgeous and she’ll have a ball. Asha and Sienna return from their date all smiles, but when Sienna’s phone rings her mood changes and she announces she has to go.  Asha, Nina and Amy are left bemused. 

Thursday 30th July 2026

Cassie calls at No.1 and is furious to realise Ross stayed the night there and Tracy has clearly forgiven him.  When Ross reveals that he starts his new job today and has to take a drug test, Cassie makes a mental note. Seeing Amy sharing her smoothies with him and filling up his travel mug she has an idea. Mixing some of Tyrone’s tablets into the drink she makes her escape, unaware she has dropped the pill packet.

Sienna apologises to Asha for her quick exit after their date, Nina is suspicious of her excuse of having to take her elderly aunt to Bingo. Arriving home Nina pops her head around Asha door only to find her in bed with Sienna, apologetic Nina rushes to her own room as Sienna leaves. Unable to find her wage packet Nina suggests to a horrified Asha that Sienna must have stolen it.

Over at a table, Adam advises Abi to refuse Idris’s offer of £5k but when Alya interjects and points out that by going to court she could end up with nothing, Abi’s torn. 

At No.8, Jodie takes out her laptop and creates a new thread on a forum dedicated to mums.  Calling herself Shona, she describes herself as a first time mum who went through a traumatic birth. Roy visits Betsy in hospital and helps her with her language skills. Carla tells Betsy that according to the doctor, it’s good news and she’ll be discharged tomorrow.  Betsy admits she’s nervous at the thought of going home. 

Friday 31st July 2026

Steve finds an empty strip of strong pain killers in Cassie’s cardigan pockets. When Steve tells her their relationship is over and Tyrone throws her out, has Cassie burned her last bridge in Weatherfield? 

Sally suggests to Tim they throw a garden party.  Having just returned from her holiday, Debbie tells them to count her in. Bernie, Christina, Debbie, Fiz, and Mary gather in the back garden, where Sally unveils her new pizza oven and orders Tim to fire up the hot tub. While the women tuck into pizza and cocktails, Tim approaches, but a confused Debbie fails to recognise him and accuses him of "perving" at them in their swimsuits. Mary gently explains who he is, leading a mortified Debbie to apologise and declare she is going teetotal.

Lisa helps a fragile Betsy out of the car and into the house. Lisa, Carla and Ryan do their best to appear upbeat as they show Betsy how they’ve made a bed up for her in the living room but a dejected Betsy asks Lisa to contact the fashion college and let them know that she won’t be going.

Nina accuses Sienna of stealing her cash, who is horrified and labelling Nina a jealous ex, storms out. Is Nina right?
