Monday 13 July 2026

Having clocked Gary and Maria arguing on the street Kit tells Lisa he is suspicious of their behaviour. Lisa reminds him he is off the case. Meanwhile an upset Maria confides in Sarah that her marriage is falling apart. Sarah tells Gary that she is struggling with her guilt but Gary begs her to keep quiet otherwise he could go to prison. Sarah arrives home to find Kit has cooked a romantic lunch. Kit drops to one knee and asks her to marry him, what answer will she give? 

Tyrone’s golf day with his dad doesn't go quite to plan when Tyrone puts his back out. Meanwhile Bernie notices how uneasy Cassie is around Ross. She tells Bernie someone is blackmailing her and Bernie convinces her to tackle it face on. Will she take Bernie’s advice? 

After a disastrous attempt at cooking breakfast for Dylan, Betsy asks him for some cooking lessons. Dylan shows Betsy how to make a bolognaise and assures her that they’ll make their long distance relationship work. Betsy smiles and they hug.

Joseph hands Chesney and Gemma his school report and makes a rapid exit.  They’re taken aback to discover that Joseph is often late with his homework.

Wednesday 15th July 2026

An ambulance pulls away from No.6 with its siren blaring. At the hospital Ryan explains to Carla how he returned home to find Betsy unconscious on the kitchen floor. At Betsy’s bedside a nurse explains to a tearful Lisa that they are taking Betsy for an MRI Scan. Dylan arrives to see Betsy but comes running out of the room and tells Lisa and Carla that she seems to be having some kind of fit. Lisa and Carla watch in horror as the doctor tends to Betsy. 

Ross makes it clear that he wants to have a relationship with Tyrone but when Tyrone senses something is going on with Cassie and Steve he is shocked by what he finds out. 

Cassie is horrified to find Ross has stayed the night at number 1 with Tracy. With Ross having gone, Cassie tries to warn Tracy that he’s not all that he seems and she needs to watch herself, but her words fall on deaf ears.

Gemma laments to Bernie that Joseph is falling behind with his homework because it’s impossible for him to concentrate at home. Chesney’s grateful when Bernie suggests he can study in peace at No.7. Chesney calls at the pub and breaks the news to Gemma that Linda’s holiday rental business has gone bankrupt and she can no longer afford Joseph’s school fees. 

Thursday 16th July 2026

An upset Betsy begs Lisa not to blame Dylan for what happened. When Sean suggests to Dylan that they go together to visit Betsy, Dylan shuts the conversation down leaving Sean suspicious. Later in the cafe Sean is shocked when a furious Lisa turns on Dylan and blames him for Betsy’s collapse. Lisa calls at the station and tells the desk sergeant she’d like to report a crime.

Kit warns Sarah that her freedom is in Gary’s hands and she needs to get hold of his phone so they can delete any data which might incriminate her. Will Gary give her the phone? Having witnessed  Tracy and Ross snogging on the street, Cassie later tells Tracy she saw Ross heading into the Bistro with some flowers.

Tracy’s good mood vanishes. When Tyrone and Hope warn him that Tracy is bad news, Ross fails to take them seriously.

George and Christina return home to find Mary holding a flash sale and flogging some household items which Christina recently bought. Christina’s furious but Mary points out they were bought on her card and their hers to sell.

In the shop, Chesney tells Gemma he’s been looking into taking out a loan to pay Joseph’s school fees. Bernie’s horrified at the thought of them getting into debt. 

Friday 17th July 2026

Dylan is upset when Lauren tells him that Betsy is in a bad way and doesn’t want to see him. A shocked Fiz tells Sean that she has just seen two police officers arrest Dylan at the precinct. Unaware that Lauren told Dylan to stay away Betsy is stunned to discover Lisa has reported him to the police.

Later when Sean and Dylan go into The Rovers Lauren refuses to serve them. But Dylan says that he believes Brody was responsible for what happened to Betsy. How will Betsy and Brody react when they hear what Dylan is saying?

Kit secretly calls the guy tasked with wiping the data from Gary’s phone and asks him to forward any information he can find to his personal email address. On the street, DC McLaughlin tells Lisa that they’re ready to arrest Theo’s murderer.

Unaware of Cassie's meddling, Ross is bemused when Tracy gives him the cold shoulder. He explains about the flowers but tells a furious Tracy he wants to cool things off to concentrate on his relationship with Tyrone. Ross calls at No.9 and warns Cassie to stop interfering in his life. Meanwhile after being given her marching orders by Tyrone, Cassie decides she needs to tell Steve the truth. 

At No.11, Mary continues to make jibes at Christina over her fraudulent spending habits. Christina looks at the ‘package out for delivery’ message on her phone and her heart sinks. In the café, Gemma and Chesney tell Joseph that Linda’s been in touch and she’s managed to find the money for his school fees.
