Sky Original comedy series Code 404 will not be returning for a fourth series, it's been revealed.

The comedy was set in near future at the Special Investigation Unit at the London Met.
It revolved around two Detective Inspectors, DI John Major and DI Roy Carver, who are the top crime fighting duo in the Unit. But when an undercover sting goes horribly wrong, Major is gunned down on the job and killed.
The series starred Daniel Mays and Stephen Graham as the AI-enhanced “supercop” DI John Major and his long-suffering partner DI Roy Carver, along with Anna Maxwell Martin, Rosie Cavaliero, Michelle Greenidge, Richard Gadd, Amanda Payton, Tracy-Ann Oberman and Michael Armstrong.

Danny Mays said (via The Sun): "We’re good friends, Stephen and I, but it would be pretty much impossible to get us back in the same room together because of work commitments. We were lucky to get three seasons of Code 404 and had great fun doing it, but it almost certainly won’t be coming back."
Code 404 was co-produced by Kudos, part of Banijay UK, and Water & Power Productions, in association with Sky Studios
Code 404 is available on Sky and NOW.
