The new and returning titles airing on Channel 4 this September revealed.

 THE GREAT BRITISH BAKE OFF

Nigella Lawson is joining The Great British Bake Off as the show’s new judge. Nigella’s expertise, empathy and humour are the perfect ingredients for the Bake Off tent. Nigella joins the show following the departure of Prue Leith who became one of the most loved figures on British TV screens over nine series.

 THE JURY: MURDER TRIAL

The new series will once again examine the jury system by recreating an entire, real murder trial from the original transcripts in front of a randomly selected jury.

 THE LYCETT ARMS

Broadcasting live on Channel 4 every Friday at 10pm, The Lycett Arms (6x60”) takes place inside Joe Lycett’s own pub, a technicolour, paisley-carpeted East London boozer where punters can escape the world while putting the world to rights.

The pub will be frequented by a cast of regulars, old friends and strangers all welcomed with open (Lycett) arms by Joe and his weekly celebrity Pub manager.  Each week The Lycett Arms will twin with a different pub from across the UK, celebrating what is special about Britain’s locals.

 APOCALYPSE

In this bold and ambitious social experiment, Channel 4 is sending a group of ordinary people to a jaw dropping, real world location - an abandoned town that bears all the hallmarks of being ravaged by an apocalyptic event.  They'll have to survive for 28 days without running water, heating, or electricity. They'll need to scavenge for food and supplies, reusing and repurposing anything they find but only if they can muster skills and wherewithal to do it.

 GOGGLEBOX

From the Saturday night juggernauts and the week’s big soaps, to documentaries and gritty drama, the Gogglebox households offer witty, insightful, feisty and sometimes emotional critiques of the week’s popular and topical TV shows. Their reviews could also be interrupted by breaking news stories and controversial TV events – subjects the outspoken households certainly won’t be shying away from.

 GRAND DESIGNS

Kevin McCloud follows more of Britain's most ambitious self-building projects, as intrepid individuals attempt to design and construct the home of their dreams.

FRED'S ULTIMATE HOTELS

Travelling across the globe, Fred visits a collection of iconic destinations, from the regal splendour of The Royal Mansour in Marrakesh and the spectacular Royal Madikwe safari lodge in South Africa, to the timeless grandeur of Raffles Hotel in Singapore and the alpine luxury of Les Barmes de l'Ours in the French Alps.

 BAKE OFF: AN EXTRA SLICE

Jo, Tom and guests will also get to sample some of the ambitious bakes brought in by the eager studio audience. As the GBBO bakers leave the tent and the competition they will appear alongside Jo to relive their best bakes and biggest mistakes of The Great British Bake Off.

Transmission details will be announced in due course.
