The new and returning programming airing on Channel 4 this February revealed.

 SECRET GENIUS

This six-part series will see people from each of the four regions of the UK come to take part in immersive and ambitious challenges that will test all aspects of their brain power. Celebrating all things cerebral, Alan Carr and Susie Dent will explain the tasks and games -no matter how complex and mind-bending- and encourage viewers to play along and find out if they too have what it takes to be a genius.

GOGGLEBOX

From the Saturday night juggernauts and the week’s big soaps, to documentaries and gritty drama, the Gogglebox households offer witty, insightful, feisty and sometimes emotional critiques of the week’s popular and topical TV shows. Their reviews could also be interrupted by breaking news stories and controversial TV events – subjects the outspoken households certainly won’t be shying away from.

THE LAST LEG

The show sees the return of the all-encompassing question: Is It Ok? Viewers at home and the live studio audience will be encouraged to ask this question about anything from the week, without fear of judgement. Once again, the three hosts will attempt to step into the minefield of sometimes difficult and delicate areas and answer the questions with their own unique insight.

 MICHAEL JACKSON: THE TRIAL

The four-part series will feature contributors who have never spoken before to plot the story of Michael Jackson’s 2005 criminal trial alongside Jackson’s rise to fame and life in the spotlight. The series will forensically examine available archive to offer a deeper understanding of Jackson’s life as lived in front of the cameras.

OUR YORKSHIRE PUB RESCUE

The observational series follows Jon Richardson as he becomes a shareholder in Fadmoor Community Pub Limited and sets to work with the team to restore the historic watering hole, which dates back to 1782. Along the way, Jon will get to know the local rural community, put in his fair share of elbow grease as everyone mucks in to complete the renovation, as well as tackling the myriad challenges cropping up on the community’s ambitious journey to re-open The Plough.

 GEORGE CLARKE'S BUILDING HOME

All around the UK, there are stories of people ditching rented flats in the city for a slice of the good life closer to relatives, or young families returning to their roots to give their children the carefree upbringing they had. This series celebrates the towns, villages and remote islands around the UK and the people returning to build their dream home.

George will be following the highs and lows of these building renovations and the brave people taking the biggest gamble of their lives, for the best reason: the chance to go home.

Transmission details will be announced in due course.
