CELEBRITY SABOTAGE: NEW HIDDEN CAMERA PRANK SHOW ANNOUNCED FOR ITV
ITV have commissioned Celebrity Sabotage, a new six-episode primetime hidden camera prank show which sees famous faces "unleashing acts of sabotage" on members of the public.
Each episode will see a team of celebrities work together to sabotage a member of the public. If their sabotage is successful, the prank victim will win a cash prize. The 6x60' series will be produced by Lifted Entertainment, part of ITV Studios, and will film and air in 2025.
Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment and Daytime, said:Â "Celebrity Sabotage is a unique combination of hidden camera, reality, and gameshow, delivering big laughs with a fantastic celebrity cast. We are delighted to bring this exciting new format to the ITV audience."

Elsewhere, earlier this year it was revealed the BBC are piloting a new primetime hidden camera prank show, based on the Japanese format Koso Koso. The show sees 'celebrity secret agents' playing tricks on member of the public to win them a cash prize. Missions for the secret agents include Supermarket Sneak, where the celebrities hit targets on the players' backs whilst in the supermarket aisles.
Suzy Lamb, managing director of BBC Studios Entertainment Productions, previously said: "We've really enjoyed working with the development team at Nippon TV on what has been an exciting creative process. Bringing together the experience and ideas from us in BBC Studios and Nippon TV has been hugely beneficial...
"Together we have created a format which may not have happened in isolation - it's a real coming together of UK and Japanese creativity to create a format that will have wide appeal."
