CHANNEL 5 ACQUIRE QUEENS OF MYSTERY FOR SATURDAY NIGHTS

Channel 5 have acquired Acorn TV's murder-mystery series Queens Of Mystery, to air on Saturday nights.

Starring Florence Hall (The Princess Switch franchise), Julie Graham (Shetland), Siobhan Redmond (Unforgotten), Sarah Woodward (Agatha Christie's The Pale Horse) and Olivia Vinall (The Woman in White).

This "wickedly offbeat" (Parade), contemporary murder-mystery series follows the adventures of a perennially single detective and her three crime-writing aunts as they solve murders in the picturesque English region of Wildemarsh.

Episode 1 synopsis: "When newly promoted Detective Sergeant Mattie Stone is assigned to her hometown of Wildemarsh for duty, her boss strictly warns that her job will not require the help of her three crime-writing aunts, Beth, Cat, and Jane. But when a murder takes place at the local crime-writers' festival, Mattie struggles to keep the well-meaning amateur sleuths out of the investigation."

Queens Of Mystery begins Saturday 12th March at 9:15pm on Channel 5.
