Quizness, the gameshow format fronted by Tom Allen, is unlikely to return to Channel 4 for a second series, TV Zone understands.

The series, which was presented by Tom Allen, aired its first series in Spring 2021 on Friday nights at 8pm. The series concluded with a celebrity Christmas special which aired on Channel 4 last year.
In Quizness, contestants’ general knowledge was put to the test as they played for the chance to win £25,000. But the more answers our quizzers knew, the dafter they looked to prove it.

Rounds on the show included ‘Subbly Jubbly’, where contestants must substitute nonsense words into the correct answers.
There was also a unique and surprisingly difficult quickfire round in which nearly every question had the same answer, and a multiple choice round which tested the quizzers’ speed of thought when they must answer a different question to the one they’ve actually been asked.
Previous episodes are available on All4. TV Zone approached Channel 4 for comment.
