CHANNEL 4 ANNOUNCES SCRIPTED AUTUMN HIGHLIGHTS

Channel 4 have revealed their drama and scripted comedy slate for Autumn 2023.

Screw

After the tragic events of the series one finale, our team of embattled prison officers, led by Leigh Henry (Nina Sosanya – His Dark Materials, Little Birds), are determined to make a fresh start. But as those behind the cell doors of C Wing know only too well, moving on isn’t always simple.

With changes at the very top and fresh faces both on the wing and in the staff room, Leigh’s new bond with Rose (Jamie-Lee O’Donnell– Derry Girls) - and the secrets they share - will be tested to the limit.

The Couple Next Door

The series is a deliciously dark, psychological drama, exploring the stultifying claustrophobia of suburbia and the fallout of chasing your darkest desires.

When Evie (Eleanor Tomlinson) and Pete (Alfred Enoch) move into an upscale neighborhood, they find themselves in a world of curtain twitching and status anxiety.

But soon find friendship in the shape of the couple next door, alpha traffic cop Danny (Sam Heughan) and his wife, glamorous yoga instructor Becka (Jessica De Gouw). Sam Heughan heads up the cast as Danny who shares a passionate night with Evie, his beautiful but troubled neighbor.

Hullraisers

The second series sees Toni (Leah Brotherhead) and Craig’s (Perry Fitzpatrick) family growing with baby no. 2 on the way, despite Toni’s denial. Paula (Sinead Matthews) and Dane (Yanick Ghanty) are coming to terms with Ashley (Natalie Davies) growing up and moving out, and Rana (Taj Atwal) has her eyes opened by her mum, Nima (Shobna Gulati), revealing the secret to hitting your absolute peak during your menopause years.

Transmission details about all titles will be announced in due course.
