CHANNEL 4 PULL LATEST SERIES OF FIRST DATES FROM TV AND STREAMING

Channel 4 have removed all episodes from the current series of First Dates from the its streaming service due to editorial reasons, TV Zone understands.

The last minute action also saw last night's episode replaced with a repeat. Channel 4 say the new series will resume next Tuesday in its usual slot, though no timescale has been given for when previous episodes will be reuploaded online.

The new series, the format's 21st overall, was the first to come from a brand new restaurant in Bath.

The city of Bath stars as the romantic hot-spot at the heart of the BAFTA-winning dating series, alongside new restaurant staff members and some of the most unforgettable dating moments the show has ever featured, promising more matches and fireworks than ever before.

This new series will see more singletons hoping to find love, guided by Fred Sirieix, bartender Merlin Griffiths and waitress Cici Coleman. They will be joined by Francecsa Martu from ‘First Dates Hotel’ and several new faces in the First Dates restaurant; Kofi Yeboah-Mensah, Aoife Smyth and Jamie McCleave.

TV Zone approached Channel 4 for comment.
