The British Soap Awards have been shelved by ITV for the second time, with the broadcaster confirming the ceremony will not air in 2026.
It's the second time the awards ceremony has been shelved, with the show also not airing in 2024. An ITV spokesperson told RadioTimes: "The British Soap Awards is taking a break and won't be on air in 2026."
The Awards ceremony in June 2023 reached 5.7 million viewers in total, with just under one million streams on ITVX and a peak of 3.2 million viewers via its linear overnight broadcast.
