BRITAIN GET SINGING: FIRST LOOK AT ITV CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

Britain Get Singing, a 90-minute Christmas extravaganza is coming to ITV and ITVX this festive season, supporting ITV’s groundbreaking mental health campaign Britain Get Talking.



Hosted by Roman Kemp, the tv event will see a number of groups comprised of stars from TV’s biggest shows go head-to-head in a spectacular sing-off, undoubtedly bringing sparkle to the screens this Christmas.



Taking to the stage, the groups will put their vocal prowess to the test as they look to impress the studio audience and Super Panel made up of some of TV’s most iconic judges - The Voice UK’s will.i.am, Britain’s Got Talent’s Alesha Dixon and Starstruck’s Adam Lambert and Jason Manford.


The teams



Emmerdale: Lisa Riley, Mark Charnock, Jay Kontzle, Olivia Bromley, Daisy Campbell, Bradley Johnson and Lawrence Robb.



Coronation Street:Michael Le Vell, Sue Devaney, Rob Mallard, Jodie Prenger, Daniel Brocklebank and Channique Sterling-Brown.




Loose Women: Brenda Edwards, Coleen Nolan, Denise Welch, Judi Love, Linda Robson and Kelle Bryan.



Love Island: Tasha Ghouri, Antigoni Buxton, Andrew Le Page, Danica Taylor, Luca Bish and Paige Thorne.




The Chase: Anne Hegerty, Jenny Ryan and Darragh Ennis.


Shining a light on the importance of looking after mental wellbeing by connecting with others, this star-studded special will also feature inspiring clips in which the stars discuss their own experiences of mental health.

Britain Get Singing is sure to add some much-needed Christmas magic to screens later this year.”
