Britain's Got Talent is returning to ITV1 and ITVX in 2026 for its nineteenth series, with The Sun newspaper now revealing the locations where the audition stages will take place.

The newspaper reports that following the success of the last series, the show will return to Blackpool to kick-off its auditions for the 2026 stages this Autumn. Moving out of London completely, the second leg of auditions will be filmed in Birmingham.
It comes after TV Zone revealed earlier this year that ITV had extended is contract for the talent competition with producers Fremantle for further series, with sources suggesting the new deal is for three series through to 2028, though this has not been announced by ITV.
Britain’s Got Talent is one of ITV’s biggest entertainment programmes of the year - along with over 46 million social media followers and more than 25 billion lifetime video views, BGT has firmly established itself as one of the biggest entertainment formats worldwide.

Ant & Dec will once again lead the nation through a series of auditions featuring a wonderful array of talent, who’ll be performing to secure a spot in the finals by impressing the four inimitable judges, with the current line-up of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli and special guest judge KSI.
The 2025 series saw magician Harry Moulding crowned the winner, earning himself a life-changing £250,000 and a spot on the bill of the prestigious Royal Variety Performance, but who will take the crown next year?
Previous episodes of Britain's Got Talent are available on ITVX.
