LIFE AFTER NUMBER 10: BORIS JOHNSON REPORTEDLY OFFERED OWN FLY-ON-THE-WALL TV SERIES

Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson has reportedly been offered his own fly-on-the-wall reality series which will follow the former MP and his family.

A source told The Sun: "Meet The Ress-Moggs was generally well received when it aired a few weeks ago on Discovery+ and Boris even got several name checks in that series. So producers have clearly adopted the nothing-ventured-nothing-gained approach and contacted the former premier on the off chance he might go for it."

"It just goes to show how, more than two years after leaving Downing Street, there’s still huge interest in BoJo. As well as being a politician, he has the profile and personality that makes him a celebrity in his own right."

Neither the broadcaster nor production company for the series have been revealed. Meanwhile, former Conservative MP Jacob Rees-Mogg has launched his own five-part docu-series which lifts the lid on the band behind the public image.

With exclusive access, this fly-on-the-wall documentary series will be a never-before-seen look into his life at home in the 17th Century Somerset house where he lives with his wife and six children.

Following Rees-Mogg through the run up to the General Election and the aftermath that follows, the series which drops on discovery+ later this year will give viewers insight into the political figure who divides opinion as well as the husband and father at home.

Meet the Rees-Moggs is available now on Discovery+.
