BIG BROTHER TONIGHT: SUNDAY 27th OCTOBER 2024
Here's a rundown of what to expect in tonight's episode of Big Brother, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.
EVICTION NIGHT SEES TEMPERATURES RISE AND TEMPERS FLARE
With Izaaz the latest evicted from the Big Brother House, conversation quickly turns to some of the chants from the crowd gathered outside. Lily is convinced she heard her name several times, which as the night unfolds, leads to an epic falling out with tempers flaring and Housemates locking horns.
Lily says: “I heard ‘Get Lily out, Get Lily out’.”
Dean, Ali, Martha and Lily discuss what they think they heard, with each one slightly unsure. But Lily remains convinced she heard her name.
Martha: “I didn’t hear that. I did not hear that.”
Martha says to Hanah: “You heard that, didn’t you?”
Hanah: “I did, yeah.”
Martha: “Did you really?”
Hanah: “Yes I did.”
Martha: “Did you hear Get Martha Out?”
Hanah: “No. Just get her.”
Conversation and speculation continues with Housemates going around in circles, leading Martha to share a conversation she had with Hanah. As the evening progresses, Martha and Hanah go head-to-head.
Martha: “Hanah, did you hear that? She just ignored the question…”
Hanah responds: “If I say what I say it just worsens the situation.”
Probing Hanah further, she confirms to Lily what she heard.
Nathan: “Hanah, did you say you heard ‘Get Lily out?’”
Hanah: “Yes, I said I heard it. However, I said that to Martha. The reason I wasn’t going to repeat it is simply because I knew she was going to start crying. Is it that deep? No. It’s pantomime. If people know that it will upset her, I shouldn’t be asked that in front of her.”
Seemingly at an impasse as to how to rectify the situation, Hanah leaves the room. And towards the end of the night, Martha extends an olive branch to Hanah in an attempt to clear the air.
Martha: “Hanah, I know you don’t want to talk to me. But I just want to say I’m really sorry. I shouldn’t have put you in that position. I shouldn’t have asked you that when you felt uncomfortable. You had that conversation with me privately. I was wrong to have done that. I’m sorry it’s escalated so much. I’m sorry for disrespecting you and I’m sorry for putting you in that situation. In the moment, I didn’t think. It was all heightened. In my eyes I had Lily’s best interests at heart, but I can see from hindsight that that wasn’t the right thing to have done.”
Hanah: “I accept your apology. Even though you or others might have perceived the way I might have reacted as me going full throttle. I was very much trying to keep my composure. That’s why I’ve been telling people – please do not rattle me. Hopefully one day we can resolve this. But as I said I’m not 24 hours/tomorrow type of girl. But for now, let’s just keep distance.”
Will they be able to build bridges or is this the end of their friendship?
TASK TIME – SEGUN IS LEFT ‘TOTALLY OBLIVOUS’
The morning after the eviction, the Housemates get a rude awakening from…. Lily. But they don’t have too much time to be annoyed. Big Brother calls Segun to the Diary Room, as the others are ordered to the lounge where a surprise awaits them. A room full of balloons… It’s task time.
Lily reads out the instructions: “Today’s task… Throughout the day, weird and wonderful things will occur. Your job is to make sure that Segun remains totally oblivious to everything happening in the house. As you can see, the room is filled with balloons. You must pop all the balloons and clear away any evidence before Segun comes out of the diary room.”
Next up, Emma is set a secret mission.
Big Brother: “Emma, do you think Segun is totally oblivious? Emma, you are going to be my woman on the ground for this. When there is another Totally Oblivious task going into the house, Big Brother will tell you through this earpiece. Emma, the next Totally Oblivious task is about to take place in the garden. David Potts is in a pot in the garden… You must make sure Segun does not see Big Brother’s Potts plant. You must get David Potts in a Pot, through the house into the diary room.”
The next secret task is for Marcello to go completely unnoticed while in possession of a gigantic prop chicken. Easier said than done.
Later that day, Emma must get ten of her housemates to join her in the bathroom for ten minutes to bust some moves in Big Brother’s Secret Bathroom Rave.
Will the Housemates succeed in keeping Segun totally oblivious for the whole day?
REVENGE IS A DISH BEST SERVED DUNKED IN A HOT TUB
As Emma tries to nap in the bedroom, Nathan and Baked Potato have other ideas. Deciding to wake her up with a rather large splash of cold water to the face, an unimpressed Emma sets her sights on revenge.
A sleepy Emma says: “You pri**s. I wouldn’t like to be either of you two tonight. You are so f****d.”
The payback… Baked Potato takes an unexpected dip in the hot tub.
