Here’s a round-up of the latest seven-day consolidated ratings for week 01-07 November 2021. Figures are courtesy of BARB, and include those who watched live and those who watched within a seven-day period on catch-up.
Once again, Strictly Come Dancing was the most watched show of the week, with 10,148,875 viewers for Saturday night’s live show, followed by 8,810,396 for the Sunday night results show. The results show was beaten by The Great British Bake Off on Channel 4, which posted 9,048,032 viewers.
Doctor Who continued with 5,103,013 for the third chapter of ‘Flux’, with Blankety Blank continuing with 5,044,901 viewers. The soaps dominated with the week, with Coronation Street and Emmerdale occupying 9/15 most watched shows of the week.
On ITV, new gameshow Sitting On A Fortune with Gary Lineker launched with a disappointing 2,014,000 viewers – ITV’s 32nd most watched show of the week. The 2021 Pride Of Britain Awards took place on Thursday 4th November. They were watched by 3,035,000 people.
The week saw the launch of two new dramas. Firstly, Channel 5’s Dalgliesh achieved a strong 4,088,301 for its first episode on Thursday 4th November, followed by 3,686,495 viewers for its second episode on Friday 5th November. New Channel 4 drama Close To Me, starring Christopher Eccleston, started with just over 2m in the Sunday 9pm slot.
